Great question! To begin, hiring a full-time CTO can now cost upwards of $250,000 annually, not including stock options—and that’s if you can find one who’s available. Additionally, acquiring a technical co-founder often means relinquishing a substantial equity share in your company. For many startups, the truth is a full-time CTO may be excessive, especially before your team has grown significantly.
Our service offers the expertise and experience of a CTO at a much lower cost, without requiring any equity from you. Plus, with the flexibility to cancel or pause your subscription at any time, you won’t find yourself committed long-term.
We start with a discovery call, through wich you layout to us your business idea and share with us any business documents you wish, including your business plan, brand documents… etc. if they exist. Through this call we get an initial understanding of your business and how we will tap in as your co-founder
After we have a good understanding of your business we will draft technical documents laying out your MVP features and technical details, as well as a project plan with a clear timeline for building your MVP. We provide as well the technical documentation and project plan for all features that we concluded (with your agreement) to be not a part of the MVP.
First you lock in your pricing as long as you are subscribed to your service, second we add you (and your team) to our faster communication channels as well as task boards to monitor progress and add requests as well as to technical docs related to the project, and soon enough to the repos.
Once subscribed, you can add as many requests / features to your queue as you’d like, and they will be handled by us one by one.
It depends on the task and its complexity, but on average, most requests will be completed in 2-3 days, and more complex sprints can take up to 2 weeks.
Evotik was founded by Dr. Maen K Househ, a software engineer with over 10 years of experience in various industries. Maen has worked with companies of all sizes, from small startups to large enterprises & governmental institutions, and has helped them build and scale their products.
We aim with allowing you to pause your subscription to alleviate any pressure or risk you have, as we understand that sometimes things does not go 100% as planned.
Billing cycles are monthly, based on five days a week or 22 days per month. Let’s say you sign up, use the service for 15 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused, and you’ll have seven days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future.
We’ve seen and done it all, but our most common tech stack uses a combination of Laravel, Vue 3, Nuxt 3, Node.js, Python, PHP, Bash, React, Tailwind, Bootstrap, Postgresql, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, Google Cloud, Firebase, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub. For UX/UI, we use Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
When you sign up, you’ll get your dedicated task board (optional), where you’ll be able to add requests, communicate with us, and track the progress of your requests. Or simply communicate the requests to us and we ll take care of them.
Adding a Google doc, wireframes, or recording a brief Loom video (or similar) is recommended. If it can be linked to or shared in your task board, it’s fair game.
